The room
Taking refuge in a luxurious mansion near Paris, a movie star, spy and maybe assassin, dreams of a new great future while the situation seems impossible: new role, new love, new life in a new country. She remembers her glorious past, refuses the present, dreams of triumphing again – remaining the greatest. Who will win: the strength of beings or dramatic circumstances? A scent of thriller and tragicomedy in a single bottle.
The author’s word
Inspired by the films about the stars of the golden age of cinema, where the influence of a star was linked to the importance of his roles and the dimension of his personality, I have precisely composed the piece “Monstre sacré” about a movie star, with all his past and an imaginary future – and it will be both a thriller and a moving drama – about the eternal search for love, about urgency, about aging which affects each of us at different rates, and about a personality who explains a life journey and about whom they will say: “He was a great star of your time…”
